Are UWC offers fully funded? 

UWC offers are not always fully funded. Offers through UWC Ethiopia may be partially or fully funded. Students are expected to contribute to their UWC education in some capacity. Financial declarations and assessments will be conducted for all successful applications to match any available full or partial scholarships based on demonstrated need only. Fees structure available here.

Will the National Committee support me financially to attend UWC? 

No, the Ethiopian National Committee is a volunteer group and does not have the resources to provide financial support for students. Therefore, students are responsible for financing their education as needed.

If I am selected, can I choose the country or school I wish to attend? 

No, if selected, students are matched to available offers based on compatibility and the requirements of specific colleges. Therefore, students cannot choose specific countries or colleges.

Can I submit my application if I do not meet one or more items on the Eligibility Criteria? 

All applications must meet all items outlined in the Eligibility Criteria for the specific application cycle to be considered.

Can I submit my application if I am older or younger than the age requirement by a few days, weeks or months? 

All applicants must fall within the specified age requirement for the specific application cycle.

What curriculum is offered at UWC? 

All UWC Schools and Colleges offer the 2-year International Baccalaureate Diploma (I.B). This is NOT a university or College degree or diploma. Students will apply to and attend university or college after successful completion of the 2-year I.B. and UWC programs. See IB subjects list at UWC.
